Train Wreck
: Betelgeuse
(Written by: Chris Romero)
Train Wreck. Yeah I got to get my head checked.
Wound up sleeping on the tracks,
Where was anyone at when it past.
Officially broken apart,
What little time we have.
Apart from fluids draining, is there something more to be.
Let us go, we will grow, but I know you won’t be around.
Could’ve been you and me, but through this train comes through to me.
I sound I wake to, a sound so fierce.
To play my guitar as my body vanishes, it’s pierced.
Off to another land, maybe here we will be free.
In another place may I find rest, a place to ease my mind and be?
Forgotten not, rest assured in most sincere empathy.
I have been there before, my acquatance; I too know the harsh reality.
To that sacred spot we go.
I drank and danced all night with doubt, and was found in morning.
I slept and found a corpse in my arms on awakening.
